LaTanya Estelle Richardson (born October 21, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American actress and television producer. She graduated from Spelman College in 1974. While at Spelman, she met actor Samuel L. Jackson who would later become her husband. She and Jackson married in 1980 and have one daughter, named Zoe. She currently produces the ESPY Awards for ESPN.

Film roles

Richardson starred alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce Knowles in The Fighting Temptations in 2003.
Richardson had a small supporting role in the film Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. She played a friend of the title character's mother.
Richardson had a small role in the film Unchained Memories, where she read a slave narrative.
Richardson featured in the thriller Freedomland in 2006, as Marie. Her husband Samuel L. Jackson also starred in the movie.
